Grand Tour 2022: Provence & the French Alps

A Provence driving tour with Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill, down the mythical passes of the historic Monte Carlo Rally, through the Vercors, Drôme and Vaucluse, finishing among the vineyards and hilltop villages of Provence.

On the roads of the Monte Carlo Rally

From 1 to 5 October 2022, the Grand Tour followed the legendary mountain passes of the historic Monte Carlo Rally route, winding south through the Vercors, Drôme and Vaucluse before dropping into the sunlit villages of Provence.

Guests travelled via the Col du Granier and the Col de Rousset, and along the Combe Laval, the breathtaking balcony road carved into the cliffs of the Vercors, to Château de Montcaud. The tour continued across the Cévennes via the Col de la Tribale and the Col du Minier to the Baumanière estate at Les Baux-de-Provence, making it a Provence road trip like no other. It concluded at Circuit Paul Ricard with a hot lap alongside Damon Hill, followed by a three-Michelin-star dinner at L’Oustau de Baumanière.
