Back in the mountains, with a taste of the valley
After two years away during the pandemic, the Gourmet Ski Experience returned to Courmayeur in 2022. Tom Kerridge of the two-Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers in Marlow came back for a second time, joined by Paul Ainsworth of Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 in Padstow.
For the first time, a chef from the valley itself joined the line-up. Paolo Griffa of the Michelin-starred Caffè Nazionale in Aosta brought a local perspective to the weekend’s menus, pairing the best of British cooking with the flavours of the Aosta Valley, while guests spent their days skiing beneath Mont Blanc.
