The biggest line-up yet
For 2017, the Gourmet Ski Experience brought four of Britain’s most celebrated chefs to Courmayeur. Founder Heston Blumenthal of the three-Michelin-starred Fat Duck and Sat Bains of the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains returned for a fourth year, joined for the first time by Jason Atherton of the Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social and Claude Bosi, formerly of the two-Michelin-starred Hibiscus, who had just opened Bibendum in London.
Over three days, four very different styles of cooking came together in the mountain kitchens of the Aosta Valley, while guests skied on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. It was Heston’s last year behind the stove at the event he founded, and a fitting celebration of how far it had come.
