Nine Michelin stars in the mountains
For its third year, the Gourmet Ski Experience brought together three of Britain’s most celebrated chefs. Founder Heston Blumenthal of the three-Michelin-starred Fat Duck and Sat Bains of the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains returned once again, joined by Clare Smyth, then chef-patron of the three-Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, who would go on to open Core in London the following year.
Across the weekend, they cooked in the refuges and restaurants of Courmayeur and the Aosta Valley, while guests skied beneath Mont Blanc.
