Where it all began
In 2014, Heston Blumenthal of the three-Michelin-starred Fat Duck in Bray teamed up with Momentum XP to create something new: a weekend where world-class cooking and great skiing come together in the mountains. The Gourmet Ski Experience was born.
For the first edition, Heston was joined by Marcus Wareing of the two-Michelin-starred Marcus at The Berkeley and Sat Bains of the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham. Over three days, they cooked a series of feasts in the mountain refuges above Courmayeur, while guests spent their days skiing beneath Mont Blanc and discovering the best lunches and dinners the Aosta Valley has to offer. Eleven editions later, the idea is still going strong.
